Ohio High School Basketball - Norton routs Springfield

In Thursday's league outing, the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), by a count of 61-26.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Field (Mogadore, OH). The Falcons go into the Metro outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Field was crushed by Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH), 72-59, in a league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Woodridge for a Metro outing on Saturday, December 10. Springfield will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-45 league win over Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
