The Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY) basketball nipped the host Warrensburg Burgers (Warrensburg, NY), 35-33 in Thursday's league test.

The Railroaders (3-0) will now prepare for their test against North Warren Central (Chestertown, NY). The Cougars go into the Section 2 Adirondack II test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, North Warren Central was tipped by Lake George (Lake George, NY), 51-15, in a league test.

The Burgers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Galway for a non-league test on Monday, December 12. Warrensburg will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 39-27 league win over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
