Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), 37-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yreka upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Miners travel to Tulelake (Tulelake, CA) to play the Honkers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Honkers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Tulelake won 35-26 in their recent non-league bout against Weed (Weed, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Fall River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 40-37 non-league loss to Yreka (Yreka, CA).
