Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA), 41-14 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sherando upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors host Liberty (Bealeton, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Colonels clash with the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. James Wood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 44-42 non-league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA).
