Hope Christian Academy Lions (Starke, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Corinth Christian Academy Warriors (Jasper, FL), 30-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Hope Christian Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Old Plank Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Defenders in a bout on Monday, December 12. The Defenders go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Old Plank Christian Academy lost 37-19 in their recent league bout against Victory Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Southside Christian Patriots (Waycross, GA) in a bout, on Friday, December 9. Corinth Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 34-16 league win over Old Plank Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL).
