Florida High School Basketball - Lafayette thwarts Dixie County

December 8, 2022: Cross City, FL 32628

The Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) basketball knocked off the host Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL), 35-27 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Bronson (Bronson, FL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record.

The Bears now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Trenton for a test on Friday, December 9. Dixie County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 66-33 non-league loss to Newberry (Newberry, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
