Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Orland Trojans (Orland, CA), 50-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Foothill upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Pleasant Valley won 60-5 in their recent non-league bout against Oroville (Oroville, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Orland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 59-17 non-league win over Corning (Corning, CA).
