Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverdale upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders host North Clayton (College Park, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. North Clayton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA).
