The Swansboro Pirates topped the visiting Pamlico County Hurricanes basketball squad by a margin of 48-28 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their test against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record.

The Hurricanes now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Havelock for a non-league test on Friday, December 9.
