In Thursday's non-league game, the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA), by a count of 5-0.
The Rebels (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels go into the Division I District 2 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Pineville nudged Rapides (Lecompte, LA), 4-1, in a non-league test.
With the loss, Sterlington drops to 4-3 on the season. The Panthers host Carroll (Monroe, LA) to meet the Bulldogs in a test on Tuesday, December 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
