The Ambassador Lions basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Compton Early College Rising Phoenix to 54 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Environmental Charter for a Mulholland contest on Wednesday, December 20. Ambassador will battle a White Tigers team coming off a 83-49 league win over Compton Early College (Compton, CA). The White Tigers record now stands at 5-6.

The Rising Phoenix (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Environmental Charter (Lawndale, CA). The White Tigers come into the Mulholland contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Environmental Charter was defeated by South East (South Gate, CA), 54-53, in a non-league contest.
