Iowa High School Basketball - Aplington-Parkersburg topped by Hudson

The Hudson Pirates basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons to 64 in the Pirates league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Tuesday, December 12. Hudson will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 80-67 league win over Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-2.
The Falcons (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines come into the North Iowa Cedar - East contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Dike-New Hartford prevailed over Columbus (Waterloo, IA), 68-60, in a league contest.
