Iowa High School Basketball - Davenport North can't hold off Assumption

The Assumption Knights basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Davenport North Wildcats to 62 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a Mississippi contest on Tuesday, December 12. Assumption will battle a River Kings team coming off a 61-48 league loss to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The River Kings record now stands at 0-4.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Muskies enter the Mississippi contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Muscatine nudged Clinton (Clinton, IA), 61-48, in a league contest.
