Nevada High School Basketball - Lake Mead Academy winner over Awaken Christian

December 8, 2023: Henderson, NV 89015

The Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV) basketball felled the visiting Awaken Christian Lions (Las Vegas, NV), 68-53 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Lynx go into the 2A Southern test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Lincoln County topped GV Christian (Henderson, NV), 62-45, in a league bout.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) in a 2A Southern bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Awaken Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 76-19 league win over Founders Classical Academy (Las Vegas, NV).
