The Laurel Christian Lions basketball team (Laurel, MS), was overwhelmed 66-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Ben's Ford Christian Eagles (Bogalusa, LA)
The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodlawn Prep for a non-league battle on Monday, December 11. Ben's Ford Christian will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 77-54 league win over Mt. Salus Christian (Clinton, MS). The Wolfpack record now stands at 11-5.
The Lions (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Newton County Academy (Decatur, MS). The Generals come into the MAIS 3A District 3 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Newton County Academy was overwhelmed by Lamar Christian (Purvis, MS), 57-23, in a league battle.
