The Mt. Morris Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Byron Eagles to 52 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Lothrop for a Mid-Michigan contest on Tuesday, December 12. Mt. Morris will battle a Hornets team coming off a 58-42 league loss to Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 1-2.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Durand (Durand, MI). The Railroaders come into the Mid-Michigan contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Durand was defeated by Chesaning (Chesaning, MI), 61-56, in a league contest.
