The Hardin County Cougars (Elizabethtown, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats (Carrier Mills, IL), 76-41 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL). The Fighting Cardinals go into the Greater Egyptian test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Norris City-Omaha-Enfield walloped Galatia (Galatia, IL), 57-54, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Century for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Carrier Mills-Stonefort will encounter a Centurions squad coming off a 78-60 league win over Elverado (Elkville, IL). The Centurions record now stands at 6-3.
