The Grenada Chargers basketball team (Grenada, MS), was overwhelmed 87-57 in Friday's league battle with the host Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS)
The Mustangs now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saltillo for a 6A Region 1 battle on Monday, December 11. Center Hill will confront a Tigers team coming off a 93-77 non-league win over Walnut (Walnut, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
The Chargers (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Itawamba Agricultural trounced Mooreville (Mooreville, MS), 66-52, in a non-league battle.
