Ohio High School Basketball - Central Crossing can't hold off Lancaster

The Lancaster Golden Gales basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Central Crossing Comets to 45 in the Golden Gales league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Gales now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Albany for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Lancaster will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-39 non-league win over Minford (Minford, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.

The Comets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Franklin Heights was nudged by Westerville North (Westerville, OH), 84-25, in a league contest.
