Illinois High School Basketball - McHenry topped by Central

December 8, 2023: McHenry, IL 60050

The Central Rockets basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host McHenry Warriors to 44 in the Rockets league victory on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie Ridge for a Fox Valley contest on Wednesday, December 13. Central will battle a Wolves team coming off a 76-22 league loss to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 1-7.

The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers come into the Fox Valley contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Dundee-Crown was defeated by Hampshire (Hampshire, IL), 42-38, in a league contest.
