The Herington Railroaders basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Centre Cougars to 44 in the Railroaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Railroaders now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peabody-Burns for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Herington will meet a Warriors team coming off a 67-25 non-league loss to Hartford (Hartford, KS). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS). The Heat enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Rural Vista [Hope/White City] was defeated by Chase County (Cottonwood Falls, KS), 46-32, in a non-league contest.
