North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), 80-67 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Hall upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA) to play the Jaguars in a AAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Cedar Shoals won 80-72 in their recent non-league battle against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA)

The War Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Walnut Grove beat Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA), 61-58, in a league battle.
