The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Happy Valley Warriors to 42 in the Black Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Black Knights now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cosby for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Chuckey-Doak will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to North Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Warriors (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Cloudland was routed by Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA), 39-38, in a non-league contest.
