Texas High School Basketball - Smithson Valley nudges Churchill

In Friday's non-league outing, the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) basketball squad edged the host Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 56-50.

The Rangers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Stevens (San Antonio, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Stevens held off MacArthur (San Antonio, TX), 69-51, in a non-league outing.

The Chargers now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host MacArthur for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 9. Churchill will clash with a Brahmas squad coming off a 69-51 non-league loss to Stevens (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 8-8.
