Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), 70-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Montezuma upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Braves travel to H-L-V (Victor, IA) to play the Warriors in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-4. H-L-V lost 47-41 in their recent league bout against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA)

Next up, the Tigerhawks play the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Colfax-Mingo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
