Nebraska High School Basketball - Meridian overwhelmed by Cross County

The Meridian Mustangs basketball team (Daykin, NE), was overwhelmed 62-21 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE)

The Cougars now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a C2 District 4 battle on Saturday, December 9. Cross County will confront a Broncos team coming off a 37-34 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 1-2.

The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling (Sterling, NE). The Jets come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Sterling was overwhelmed by Diller-Odell (Odell, NE), 52-25, in a league battle.
