Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY), 73-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Daviess County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Panthers host Caverna (Horse Cave, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Caverna lost 58-57 in their recent league bout against Hart County (Munfordville, KY)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Owensboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 61-54 league win over McLean County (Calhoun, KY).
