In Friday's non-league outing, the Electra Tigers (Electra, TX) basketball squad felled the host Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX), by a margin of 56-45.
The Tigers (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Newcastle (Newcastle, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Newcastle thwarted Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX), 56-40, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie Valley for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12. Petrolia will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-51 non-league win over Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
