Alabama High School Basketball - Thorsby can't hold off Elmore County

The Elmore County Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Thorsby Rebels to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Presbyterian for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Elmore County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 72-50 non-league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Rebels (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Holtville (Deatsville, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Holtville was nudged by Central (Hayneville, AL), 72-68, in a non-league contest.
