Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Eureka Springs Highlanders (Eureka Springs, AR), 62-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Greenland upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Cotter (Cotter, AR) to clash with the Warriors in a 2A Region 1 bout on Friday, January 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-11.

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Life Way Christian Warriors (Centerton, AR) in a 2A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Eureka Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 85-40 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, AR).
