Florence Falcons (Florence, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Muscle Shoals Trojans (Muscle Shoals, AL), 71-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Florence upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Falcons host Cullman (Cullman, AL) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Cullman won 66-25 in their recent non-league bout against Corner (Warrior, AL)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Muscle Shoals will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Black Bears go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 66-52 non-league win over Hartselle (Hartselle, AL).
