Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fort Dodge Dodgers (Fort Dodge, IA), 57-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waterloo East upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Marquette (Bellevue, IA) to play the Mohawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Mohawks go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Marquette won 67-31 in their recent league bout against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA)
Next up, the Dodgers play the Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Fort Dodge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 49-41 league win over Lincoln (Des Moines, IA).
