The Frankfort Redbirds basketball team (West Frankfort, IL), was toppled 65-51 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Pinckneyville Panthers (Pinckneyville, IL)
The Panthers now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mater Dei for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. Pinckneyville will confront a Knights team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Highland (Highland, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-5.
The Redbirds (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Harrisburg beat Hardin County (Elizabethtown, IL), 52-42, in a non-league battle.
