Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), 68-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Guilford upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to play the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois 10 bout on Wednesday, December 13. The E-Rabs come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Rockford East lost 42-36 in their recent league bout against Hononegah (Rockton, IL)

Next up, the Pretzels play the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Freeport will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 48-45 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL).
