In Friday's league outing, the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI), by a margin of 47-30.

The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets go into the Mid-State outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Coleman was beaten by Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 70-25, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Carson City-Crystal for a Mid-State outing on Wednesday, December 13. Montabella will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 56-36 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
