Nebraska High School Basketball - Morrill nips Garden County

December 8, 2023: Oshkosh, NE 69154

Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE), 35-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morrill upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Kimball (Kimball, NE) to play the Longhorns in a C2 District 12 bout on Saturday, December 9. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Kimball lost 56-42 in their recent non-league bout against Perkins County (Grant, NE)

Next up, the Eagles play the Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Garden County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 36-20 non-league win over Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE).
