Mississippi High School Basketball - George County knocked off by Hancock

The Hancock Hawks basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting George County Rebels to 25 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bay for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Hancock will meet a Tigers team coming off a 64-32 non-league loss to Biloxi (Biloxi, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-9.
The Rebels (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Greene County ran past Perry Central (New Augusta, MS), 79-45, in a non-league contest.
