Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL), 80-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Geraldine upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Arab (Arab, AL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Arab won 56-55 in their recent league bout against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) in a 3A Area 14 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Sylvania will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 62-26 league win over Asbury (Albertville, AL).
