The South Elgin Storm basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Glenbard East Rams to 61 in the Storm league triumph on Friday.

The Storm now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schaumburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. South Elgin will meet a Saxons team coming off a 62-45 league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 7-1.

The Rams (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Wildcats enter the Upstate Eight contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, West Chicago ran past Larkin (Elgin, IL), 47-45, in a league contest.
