Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA), 56-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gonzaga Prep upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bullpups travel to Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA) to play the Bears in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Central Valley lost 55-33 in their recent league bout against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Panthers play the University Titans (Spokane, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 62-53 league win over Cheney (Cheney, WA).
