Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN), 78-75 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Goodhue upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Zumbrota-Mazeppa won 60-34 in their recent league bout against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN)

Next up, the Komets clash with the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Kasson-Mantorville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
