The Grundy Center Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting South Hardin Tigers to 52 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to BCLUW for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Grundy Center will battle a Comets team coming off a 89-18 non-league loss to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Comets record now stands at 0-5.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Gladbrook-Reinbeck ran past BCLUW (Conrad, IA), 89-18, in a non-league contest.
