Indiana High School Basketball - Hagerstown knocked off by Union County

December 8, 2023: Liberty, IN 47353

The Union County Patriots basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Hagerstown Tigers to 54 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hauser for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Union County will battle a Jets team coming off a 61-47 non-league loss to South Ripley (Versailles, IN). The Jets record now stands at 3-1.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Wapahani ran past Lapel (Lapel, IN), 70-35, in a non-league contest.
