Virginia High School Basketball - Heritage can't hold off Jefferson Forest

The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Heritage Pioneers to 56 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rustburg for a Seminole contest on Tuesday, December 12. Jefferson Forest will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 44-32 league win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-0.
The Pioneers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Seminole contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian nudged Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 69-43, in a league contest.
