Illinois High School Basketball - Herscher overwhelmed by Wilmington

The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Herscher Tigers to 28 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anne for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Wilmington will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 55-35 league win over Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-4.

The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Beecher triumphed over Donovan (Donovan, IL), 81-36, in a league contest.
