The Highland Huskies basketball team (Riverside, IA), was overwhelmed 75-14 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA)

The Panthers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. Pekin will confront a Rockets team coming off a 83-39 non-league win over Cardinal (Eldon, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-1.

The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against WACO (Wayland, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, WACO was overwhelmed by Danville (Danville, IA), 61-23, in a league battle.
