The Hinckley-Big Rock Royals (Hinckley, IL) basketball crushed the host Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL), 70-38 in Friday's league test.

The Royals (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Pecatonica walloped Pearl City (Pearl City, IL), 76-48, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Putnam County for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Somonauk will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 64-52 non-league loss to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
