Kansas High School Basketball - Nemaha Central nips Holton

Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS), 44-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Nemaha Central upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Thunder host Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Red Hawks come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Hiawatha won 47-45 in their recent non-league bout against Centralia (Centralia, KS)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Holton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to Sabetha (Sabetha, KS).
