In Friday's league outing, the Inter-Lakes Lakers (Meredith, NH) basketball squad nipped the visiting Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), by a margin of 49-47.

The Lakers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Belmont (Belmont, NH). The Red Raiders go into the Division III outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Belmont was tipped by White Mountains (Whitefield, NH), 43-40, in a league outing.

The Bears now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berlin for a Division III match on Wednesday, December 13. Newfound Regional will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 68-22 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-1.
