The Mancelona Ironmen basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals to 34 in the Ironmen league triumph on Friday.

The Ironmen now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Traverse City Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Mancelona will meet a Sabres team coming off a 58-55 non-league win over Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI). The Sabres record now stands at 3-2.

The Cardinals (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pellston (Pellston, MI). The Hornets enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Pellston was routed by St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI), 52-12, in a league contest.
